Joanne, is the founder of Innervision, Liverpool’s first Black-led social enterprise. Joanne is also the founder of Liverpool’s first Black Social Traders Network (BlaST) while working with Kindred-LCR.

Currently receiving support from Pathway to work with Kindred to set up BlaST as a standalone Black-led social investment fund.


  • Accredited in social impact measurement by Social Value UK.
  • Working for Kindred during the COVID-19 pandemic, leading on EDI and social impact and coaching Socially Trading Organisations (STOs)  businesses to sustain and thrive.
  • Commissioned by Power to Change to pioneer the UK’s first Social Investment Pathfinder, aiming to direct £50 million into the Liverpool City Region for Place-Based Investment.
  • Recognised as a WISE100 Equality & Empowerment Champion, leading impactful initiatives for equality, empowerment, and social investment.
  • Previous leadership roles on some of Liverpool's most influential social enterprises, including Bulky Bob’s, Furniture Resource Centre, Blackburne House, and Women’s Tech.
  • Previous an advisor to Access the Foundation for Social Investment and currently an Investment Committee member of the Growth Fund.


Joanne has recently joined SEUK to lead on The Social Value Road Map 2032.
